Limoncello is a traditional,  lemon-flavored  Italian liqueur

Ingredients: - organic lemons - high proof alcohol - sugar syrup

- small sharp knife and/or vegetable peeler - big  glass jar - pot - strainer

How To Make Limoncello 

Step 1: Peel off lemon zest as thin as possible

Trim off any white spots with a sharp knife

Here' s a perfectly trimmed lemon zest

Step 2: Place all the lemon peels in the jar with alcohol

Leave to macerate for at least 7 days

Result after 14 days

Step 3: Strain and add sugar syrup

Serve chilled and enjoy!
